Who are we?
We are a growing firm of accountants offering a complete service for small businesses, from start-up advice to ongoing support; for sole traders, companies and partnerships. We advise on all aspects of bookkeeping, accounting, and taxation matters.
We are proud to be a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, giving clients the confidence in our skills, knowledge and professionalism from a regulated firm and giving a piece of mind in the service offered.
Since leaving school Simon has worked within Accountancy Practices or accounts departments. He has seen that businesses have changed and their accounting functions need to as well. The history of ‘double entry’ bookkeeping will never change, but there are much better and ‘exciting’ ways to deal with these processes now.

We want to bring efficient and worthwhile accounting processes to small businesses, without the fear that generally goes with maintaining your books and records. With the changes in cloud accounting this type of technology is now available to all businesses.
What can we do for you?
We can streamline your bookkeeping processes to give you accounting information in real time, so you can react to the events in your business. We can prepare year end Financial Statements and Tax Returns and advise you of all your pending tax liabilities, all in good time to ensure you have adequate time to plan your payments. We prepare Self Assessment Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships, ensuring all deadlines are met. We haven’t missed one yet! We also do VAT returns, payroll processing and hosting of Registered Offices.

Meet the Team
Simon Robinson MAAT
Simon trained and qualified with a top 20 London firm and has worked with a variety of businesses before setting up his own. In his spare time he enjoys rugby and riding his motorbike, as well as keeping track of his 3 daughters!
Sue Davis ATT (Fellow) FFTA
Sue has been involved in all aspects of tax for several years. Having worked with large organisations and specialising in handling tax affairs for ex-patriates, Sue went on to form DAA Tax Accountants with her husband Peter. Sue recently merged DAA with SAS to bring together a wealth of experience and knowledge for our clients. Sue acts as a Tax Consultant to the wider client base.
Sam has been working at SAS since 2016 and specialises in VAT and bookkeeping. Sam, who is AAT qualified, spends much of her time working on-site at clients premises, managing their day-to-day accounting requirements. Sam is a keen (and excellent) photographer, who loves spending time with her two daughters and being outdoors.
Danine, who is AAT Qualified, joined the SAS Accounting team at the beginning of 2017. Danine specialises in providing bookkeeping, VAT returns and payroll for her clients. Danine works both on and off-site, visiting her clients regularly at the end of each month as part of her payroll support.
Amy is AAT Qualified and enhances our bookkeeping solutions for clients. Having recently returned from maternity leave herself, Amy is currently working off-site directly with one of our clients to assist with covering their maternity leave shortfall.
Lucy joined the firm in September 2016 at the beginning of her accountancy studies. By the end of the first year she had successfully obtained the Level 2 AAT qualification – the first step to becoming a qualified accountant. She is currently part way through studying the Level 3 AAT qualification and wishes to continue her studies to obtain the full level 4 AAT qualification. Lucy provides support to other members of the team by helping to process and prepare draft documents such a VAT Returns and Accounts.
Ashleigh has worked at SAS within a variety of roles, and now provides administrative support to our corporate clients on a part time basis. In her spare time Ashleigh specialises in providing professional foot care.
Vicky joined SAS Accounting Services at the end of June 2018, her role within the company is Office Administrator. Having many years of experience within admin, this is the first accountancy company Vicky has worked for and is looking forward to the new challenges that come her way. Vicky loves spending time with her two sons and the rest of her family and friends.
